Project Summary:
The proposal is to create an educational app offering instructional videos by topic, along with a store for related products. Users will access both free and premium content and be able to purchase associated products. Monetization will come from subscriptions, ads, sales, and affiliates, while interaction will be encouraged through comments and collaborations, all within an intuitive and accessible interface.

User problem:
Users needed to visit one page to calculate shipping costs and another to understand tariffs.The experience was fragmented, results were difficult to interpret, and the calculator frequently failed.
This increased cognitive load, uncertainty and friction at a key point in the user journey.
Bussines Goal:
Reduce friction in the shipping cost estimation flow and support conversion by unifying cost calculation and tariff information into a single, accessible experience, improving clarity, reliability and user trust.
Desing Decisions:
Unified cost calculation and tariff information into a single page to eliminate fragmentation
Enabled users to estimate shipping costs directly from the Home, reducing unnecessary navigation
Redesigned the calculator component to provide clear, reliable and easy-to-interpret results
Simplified the flow and inputs to reduce cognitive load
Improved information hierarchy to highlight key pricing details and next steps
Added a dedicated FAQ section and direct access to the Help Center to resolve user questions and prevent drop-off due to lack of information
Built a scalable component aligned with the design system and multiple markets
The solution was designed responsively across desktop, tablet and mobile.
Outcome (Pre lauch):
The project resulted in a unified and reliable shipping cost experience, reducing friction and uncertainty at a critical decision point. While metrics are not yet available due to the pre-launch stage, the solution establishes a clear foundation for improved user confidence and conversion.
